Hillsdale High School

Big School Curriculum - Small School Atmosphere

  • Football Radio Broadcast

David Pratt, Athletic Director at Hillsdale High School with an update on our first home football game this week. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. against Hudson.

In-person spectators at the event are limited.  Varsity football players and cheerleaders are each allowed to purchase 2 reserved tickets. Cost is $5 per ticket and pre-purchase is necessary.  Tickets will not be sold at the game.

Tickets must be purchased in advance through the high school office on Thursday and Friday from 8:00-3:30 p.m.

Spectators at the event must socially distance and wear a face mask.

We are aware of a social media post encouraging additional fans to use the parking lot as a public space. It is exciting that our fans have great school spirit and want to be a part of the football tradition, however, the lot is not open to the public and we must adhere to all State guidelines for play to continue.

Our district is working to develop an option for viewership from home. More details on how to watch high school sporting events online will be available on the school website as soon as they may become available. Thank you for your support. It’s a great day to be a Hornet!

  • Hillsdale Community Schools has been recognized by US News & World Report as a "Best High Schools in America" school.  Starting this year, the publication has changed how they rank schools and the level system used.  There is no longer a gold, silver, bronze system.  Instead there is a single recognition level of "National".  In their release information the publication states there is not a comparison chart or conversion chart to compare the rank order of this year's system to previous system because it is a whole new way to analyze the data sets and includes new/different data.  We are pleased to have a fifth consecutive award and national recognition.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIU3VVeJ-Bs&t=1s
